“Just give me a magic pill and make this $#@*! go away!!”

Don’t you wish it was that easy? Well, while there is no magic pill, there is “a way”!! Hello, my name is Adrianne and I am The Relationship Coach. There are many kinds of coaches: sports, life, fitness, life purpose, wellness, business etc.. The reason I became a Relationship Coach is simply because it was my calling.

Do you need support in these areas?

There are countless types of relationship issues people struggle with. Trust issues, different parenting styles, lack of respect to each other, unhealthy communication are some of the most common ones.
Lack of Healthy Communication

You want to communicate what matters to you, yet when you do it ends up in an argument! Your intentions are good, you want things to work out, but you find you are constantly defending or trying to prove why you feel the way you do. You just want your partner to understand and get you, and it's causing a riff in your relationship.

Mistrust

Not being able to trust your partner has you on edge. You begin to question many things. Did I see what I saw? Did I hear what I heard? Is my gut leading me the right way or the wrong way? You want to believe your partner, move forward and put the past in the past but afraid if you do you will look foolish.

Going Through Transition

Change can be daunting, especially when it comes to deciding where to start. At this stage of your life you’re lost, or stuck finding it hard to move forward. The task at hand feels so overwhelming and making decisions from this place is scary! You're locked in anxiety, fear, feeling utterly alone and wish you had good solid support behind you, helping you make level headed decisions.

Different Parenting Styles

Having a partner who views parenting differently than you is wreaking havoc in your relationship. You feel one way, your partner feels another and it has you questioning yourself and fearing for your kids overall well being. Maybe you have compromised your values by giving in to something you don’t agree with and you feel the seed of resentment growing.

Adrianne's Story

In The Ditch

I did not set out to be any kind of coach. I was in the midst of my second divorce. It was one of those ugly ones where two people cannot be in the same room without spewing out poison. We both felt the other was taking advantage of each other. I was scared, feeling like my security was threatened, and wondering how, after being a stay at home mom, I was going to start all over at the age of 44. The thoughts filling my mind were dragging me down. “I can’t do this on my own.” “I have  no college education, who is going to hire someone like me?!” “How am I going to afford to live on my own and raise my kids?” “I have no close friends and my family is sick and tired of hearing about my problems.” “Where did I go wrong?” “I have no one to lean on- I AM ALONE.”

Big Changes

When I stopped trying to prove myself, fight, win or make my ex-husband understand my point of view, the fighting stopped. Instead, I learned that the only one I needed to prove anything to or make understanding was myself.  This was incredibly liberating.

Voila! Was this all I needed to do all of this time?  When you know  who you are, a funny thing happens, you no longer feel a need to prove who you are to anyone. We teach people how to treat us, and I had some re-teaching to do!

The Map Changed Everything

The map I designed and started utilizing has helped me bridge the gap between my former husband and I. When I changed my behavior , he had no choice, but to respond differently to me.  I quickly realized it only takes one to shift all the relationships in your life. We were able to become friends again. We went to our kids games together, spent some holidays together and even took a platonic ski trip together.  This was incredibly healthy for our kids to be around.

I began sharing this map with my friends and family. In sharing it, it brought up deep conversations that would give them aha moments. I helped one friend through a break up, another to start a business, another reunite with their girlfriend. They all began having the same successes I was having. My friends began referring me to people and after a while I had many people calling me, it was time to set up a coaching practice. Pursuing my passion in finding out how life works in a successful, happy, joyful way, has led me to my purpose and a career in helping people.

I have been a lifelong student in personal development. My journey started in 1993 when my company sent me on a three-day seminar that changed my life forever. After witnessing shifts, breakthroughs, and life-changing moments, I asked myself the burning question, “How can I do what these trainers do? How can I help people have breakthroughs like that?” Thirteen years, three kids, a divorce, and over 30 years of experience later, I am helping others, just like those trainers in that seminar.
